I now get the full understanding of “it takes a village to raise a child” with or without the father involved the mother has to make so many sacrifices. I am so thankful for the support of family and friends. I have an even deeper respect for the ones doing it on their own, with more than one child working and or going to school. It takes a lot! Nothing taken from the fathers but mothers I salute you to the fullest!Smooches,
Ms. Danielle
My name is Danielle McDuffy, a single mother of one. I am so happy for this movement “Mommy making Moves” because like me I'm sure so many mothers/business women can relate. I found out I was expecting my last yr of college. That was a trying time for me but yet the best of my college yrs. I gave it my all. Finding out I was going to become a mother gave me that drive to push harder. I graduated with honors while exceeding the full time student limit along with working. I worked hard and since that day I have not stopped. This movement excites me because since day one of my child's life I have always pushed for better as I know I hold her life in my hands. This gives comfort in knowing its ok to be a mother making moves for the future. Let comfort and build each other up ladies because in the end we make the world go around!
