Find a nice spot to chill with your date or significant other

Dates can be a bit awkward even for married folks. Today when women grossly out number men, no woman wants to sit in a nightlife establishment out numbered with her man. Not saying that all women are gunning for your man but it’s about relaxing and having a good time.


My husband and  I have checked out a few spots but nothing really stuck. The crowds where either too old, too young or the places too expensive.


Many of the best places aren’t advertised, making it harder to find these neighborhood gems. 
Luckily we found one by following a popular Chicago comedian Torris Brown. We found Linger Martini Bar 4142 West 167th Street  Oak Forest, IL 60452.


Laugh Out Loud Wednesday is powered by What’s Funny Live and offers a FREE comedy show weekly. You pay for nothing but delicious drinks (reasonable prices). We always have our choice of bar seating or floor seating (never standing room only).  There is even a after party… 


Soooo, this is our spot!!! Every couple needs one. Great for a midweek get away from the kids and out the house. Just chill out and enjoy each others company.

Doors open at 7pm-Show starts at 9pm…..Get there EARLY!!! Hosted by one of Chicago’s  funniest Comedians Torris Brown featuring sounds by DJ Mike


Linger Martini is a beautiful lounge great for couples or a simple night out with your friends. Free admission, very reasonable drink prices and plenty of seating room. 


The Mr. and I will be there front and center.

Finding Balance – Update on business moves and life

Hey Now!!! 


It’s been a while since I’ve updated you on what’s going with me. Not like you’ve been waiting on the edge of your seats but hey I at least owe you an update. 
I get so excited about other people’s hopes dreams and aspirations I often get sidetracked assisting others achieve their goals. The feeling of helping another realize their dreams is amazing. It naturally fuels me to wake up every morning and conquer another goal. I’ve come to the realization that no one is going to bring MY DREAMS to light but me. Saying them out loud, creating business plans and time lines is great but if I’m not taking any actions than its all a waste of paper and space on my laptop. 
Action, Focus and Follow through is what it takes to bring my vision to life. To save you time and your eyes from straining to read my long list of aspirations. I’ll list what’s I’m dabbling in these days.
•               Getting a grip on marriage. My husband and I are learning to work as a team to achieve longterm goals.
•               Catching up to my son’s comprehension of life. He knows way more than I think he knows

•               In talks with a well known radio station to handle marketing for an upcoming event.
•               Working on turning my 1st love ‘dancing’ into a profitable biz. You’ll hear more about this real soon.
•               My t-shirt line has really taken off, now I’m hustling to keep up with the growth.
I have about 5 more things. Lets leave something to the imagination. HaHa. I feel better now, like best friends that haven’t spoken to each other in months.

I’m growing, failing, succeeding, growing and progressing just like you. You’re not alone sweetheart. There are many small battles to be won before we get our big break.
