Unplanned Pregnancy & Success: The Mary Mary Life
Happy Memorial Day Recovery,
It was blazing in Chicago. 91 degree’s no breeze. It was too hot for me to be slaving over a stove so I relaxed watching the Mary Mary Marathon.
As I’m branding and formulating our company of providing motivation to the masses. Specifically mommies making moves 🙂 Mary Mary’s reality TV show reveals many of the obstacles and perks of being a woman living her passion while being a caring mother and partner.
Family 1st and foremost is their focus. It’s the reason they exist. 2 sisters with a mission to prove to the world that Jesus music (as my little sister would call it) can reach the cool crowd.
One episode really touched me. Tina discovered she was pregnant. While this should be a magical moment for a married woman with a supportive partner, it’s not. It’s a reminder of another person tugging on Tina’s house coat. On a grander level it puts a major glitch in every one’s business plans. As much as we’d like to be super woman, we have our limitations during pregnancy.
Modern day moms have so much more to think about when planning a family. Women are becoming majority breadwinners and the one’s organizing everything related to family. That’s a hell of a job for someone with a full time career.
It’s evident everyday that moms are running the world. It’s also evident that we need help to do so. We need supportive men and families that understand that we are more than mothers but everything we do contributes to the progression of our family.

Finding Balance – Update on business moves and life
Hey Now!!!
It’s been a while since I’ve updated you on what’s going with me. Not like you’ve been waiting on the edge of your seats but hey I at least owe you an update.
I get so excited about other people’s hopes dreams and aspirations I often get sidetracked assisting others achieve their goals. The feeling of helping another realize their dreams is amazing. It naturally fuels me to wake up every morning and conquer another goal. I’ve come to the realization that no one is going to bring MY DREAMS to light but me. Saying them out loud, creating business plans and time lines is great but if I’m not taking any actions than its all a waste of paper and space on my laptop.
Action, Focus and Follow through is what it takes to bring my vision to life. To save you time and your eyes from straining to read my long list of aspirations. I’ll list what’s I’m dabbling in these days.
• Getting a grip on marriage. My husband and I are learning to work as a team to achieve longterm goals.
• Catching up to my son’s comprehension of life. He knows way more than I think he knows
• Joined a travel membership club. World Ventures allows me to travel with my friends for Costco prices. My family is in need of a vacation 🙂 http://lachanel.dreamtripslife.com/dreamtripslife

• In talks with a well known radio station to handle marketing for an upcoming event.
• Working on turning my 1st love ‘dancing’ into a profitable biz. You’ll hear more about this real soon.
• My t-shirt line has really taken off, now I’m hustling to keep up with the growth.
I have about 5 more things. Lets leave something to the imagination. HaHa. I feel better now, like best friends that haven’t spoken to each other in months.
I’m growing, failing, succeeding, growing and progressing just like you. You’re not alone sweetheart. There are many small battles to be won before we get our big break.
