Our Responsibilities Can’t Be Our Crutch

It’s really interesting how we can let fear or “busyness” stop us from moving on something.

One of my challenges has been finding (or prioritizing )the time to connect with people and knowing how to start conversations with complete strangers. That ish is scary.

Fear of rejection can’t be my crutch, so I’ve started reaching out to Facebook friends and others randomly to hear their goals and how I can help.

The response has been positive. No rejection so far ( I’m ready tho)

Observing other women is so freakin helpful. Just hearing another mom say she hires a maid or she eats take out, makes me feel better.

I’m not slacking. This is real life. Not Scandal. When does Olivia eat?

I have kids, a full time job, a husband, freelance work, kids activities and Grad school.

My life is over busy. Letting that be my excuse for not meeting new people had to stop. Connecting with women is on my vision board.
And anything on your vision board is gospel. Just kidding, but we be praising those vision boards, don’t we?

Well things are looking much different than my 2015. Not that 2015 wasn’t awesome, it just focused on what I could do for me. Not what I could do for and with others.

I believe that more gets done as a team, opposed to riding solo.

Yeah it’s cool to say we’re, “Self Made.” Let’s be real. Is anyone really self made? I mean unless you’re the only one buying what you’re selling.

If that’s the case. Your product, service or mission sucks.

2016 is the year of Partnership Promotion & Profit… Let’s just say the wheels are in motion for me.

Hope you’re open to getting on the road with me 😊
